Job summary

Qualifications

• Education preferred as listed: high school Diploma or GED; associate/technical degree preferred.
• Experience in GI lab or operating room preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required by AH policy.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competencies for endoscopic procedures including disinfection and handling of endoscopes.
• Practices universal precautions and hazardous materials management for decontamination.
• Transports patients between departments.
• Inventories supplies and communicates inventory needs.
• Collects data for performance improvement.
