Candidates should be prepared to follow competency checklists, work independently when needed, and participate in ongoing safety and procedural training within a large healthcare system.

• 1 year experience required.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates effective clinical skills utilizing time, equipment and supplies efficiently before, during and after procedures.
• Handles specimens ensuring proper placement and labeling with the RN caring for the patient.
• Performs clinical actions as defined in annual competency and skills checklists; maintains equipment safety.
• Completes assignments independently and works as part of a team; communicates with staff professionally.
• Adheres to infection control standards and ensures patient safety during transport.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to the physician or licensed practitioner.
