Loyola Medicine in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a GI Lab Technician to support endoscopic procedures, room prep, specimen handling, and endoscope reprocessing to ensure safe, efficient GI care.

You will assist physicians and RNs during procedures, transport patients, aid with monitoring equipment, and maintain PPE compliance, while helping with pre- and post-procedure tasks.

Required: high school diploma and CPR; 1–2 years healthcare experience; SGNA certification preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional training preferred.
• 1–2 years of related healthcare or clinical experience required; 3–5 years preferred in GI lab setting.
• CPR certification required; SGNA certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms and equipment.
• Assist during endoscopic procedures and specimen handling.
• Transport patients pre- and post-operation.
• Assist with endoscope reprocessing and disinfection.
• Stock supplies and support clinical staff.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and PPE protocols.
