Merck & Co. in the United States is seeking a Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in Gastrointestinal Immunology/IBD to support scientific exchange and research priorities.

The role combines external engagement with internal medical affairs strategy, advancing clinical and scientific conversations with key SLs and investigators. You will lead peer-to-peer discussions, provide non-product scientific information, and collaborate on site initiation visits, trials, and investigator-sponsored

Formación

• PhD/MD/PharmD/DNP/DO required with clinical and scientific expertise in GI/IBD.
• Proven ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions with external stakeholders.
• Strong communication, ethics, and regulatory knowledge (FDA, HIPAA, OIG).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global medical affairs team.

Responsabilidades

• Develop relationships with national/regional GI/IBD SLs to share approved medical information.
• Lead peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintain company medical contact points.
• Address SL inquiries and guide on issues beyond scope to appropriate resources.
• Engage in research discussions, site initiation visits, and investigator-sponsored studies.
