Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in GI/IBD to advance the company’s Scientific Exchange, Research, and Congress support initiatives.

The role requires credentialing and experience in immunology with a focus on inflammatory bowel disease, along with strong collaboration with SLs and investigators. The MSL will navigate field SOPs, GCP guidelines, and strategy while supporting Phase II–IV efforts and investigator-sponsored studies.

Qualificações

• Proven experience communicating complex scientific information to external stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for high-level discussions.
• Ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions with external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA and pharma industry regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Develops professional relationships with national and regional GI/IBD scientific leaders to share information.
• Conducts peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintains a medical contact within the company.
• Addresses scientific questions and directs inquiries to appropriate resources.
• Liaises between scientific community and the company to align research goals with AOI.
