Merck is seeking a Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in GI/IBD to engage in scientific exchange with SLs, support investigator-sponsored research, and drive clinical and scientific insights. The role emphasizes ethics, SOPs, and GCP while influencing strategy across AOIs.

You will lead and onboard field medical colleagues, collaborate on trials, and participate in scientific congress activities, with up to 50% travel within the Southern-Midwest territory and remote work options.

Qualificações

• PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO or MD required.
• 3 years of immunology/IBD experience beyond degree training.
• Strong written and verbal communication with external stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Develop professional relationships with national/regional GI/IBD SLs for access to approved medical and scientific information.
• Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintain a medical contact within the company.
• Address scientific questions and direct SL inquiries to appropriate resources per policy.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AOI and dynamic scientific/clinical landscape.
