Job summary

WVU Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (APP) to manage comprehensive care for primary care patients in South Charleston, West Virginia. The role involves coordination with clinical teams, performing diagnostic procedures, and participating in the education of medical students.

Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in Nursing or as a Physician Assistant and be licensed in Pennsylvania. There are also opportunities for eligible new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program.
• National Certification by recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• BLS Certification required with additional Advanced Life Support training.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive and individualized care for primary care patients.
• Consults and evaluates patients during acute and wellness visits.
• Orders and communicates results of diagnostic tests.
• Facilitates patient follow-up and coordinates care planning.
