Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver direct patient care in the outpatient GI Endoscopy setting. You will educate patients, review medical histories, and assist in recovery post-anesthesia while coordinating with the medical team.

The role requires an RN license with state eligibility; BSN is preferred, and prior ICU/PCU/ER/PACU experience is a plus. ACLS certification is expected within 3–6 months; TN sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• RN role requires a current RN license and eligible state licensure.
• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program (ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA recognized).
• BSN preferred; ICU/PCU/ER/PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in outpatient GI Endoscopy and intake settings.
• Provide patient education before endoscopy procedures and review medical history.
• Monitor patients in recovery post-anesthesia and ensure discharge criteria are met.
• Collaborate with MD and healthcare team to provide high-quality care.
• Maintain careful documentation and adapt to fast-paced, detailed environment.
