Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute in Tampa is seeking a Front Office Assistant for a full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM role in the GI department. The position supports ambulatory office operations, including patient registration, telephone coverage, appointment scheduling, and patient referrals under supervision.

This role requires a high school graduate, at least six months of clerical or customer service experience, and competency with office equipment.

Qualificações

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Six months experience in a clerical office, or general business, and/or customer service setting.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule patient appointments per scheduling protocols and obtain pre-certifications when required.
• Obtain accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
• Process medical records requests in accordance with policies.
• Answer phone calls and demonstrate competency with office equipment.
• Contribute to patient satisfaction and maintain attendance.
