Job summary

AltaMed in California is seeking a Staff Physician to deliver comprehensive primary care for participants in the PACE program. You will be part of an Interdisciplinary Team, providing patient-centered, regulatory-compliant care across the PACE center, homes, and facilities as needed.

You will manage a defined panel, promote wellness, prevent illness, and coordinate with specialists and IDT members. The role requires a CA medical license, board-certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine,

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Active unrestricted California medical license.
• Experience with computer-based systems; Electronic Medical Records preferred.
• Current DEA license.
• Valid BLS or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care within the PACE program as part of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
• Manage a defined panel of participants, promote wellness and prevent illness.
• Coordinate care with specialists and IDT members across multiple settings (PACE center, homes, virtual, SNFs).
