Job summary

AltaMed Health Services is seeking a Staff Physician to deliver comprehensive primary care for participants in the PACE program. The role operates within an Interdisciplinary Team, spanning the PACE center, homes, virtual visits, and SNFs to ensure patient-centered, regulated care.

The ideal candidate is board-certified in Internal/Family/Emergency Medicine or Geriatrics, holds an active CA medical license, and has EMR experience plus a current DEA license.

Qualifications

• Board-certified and eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Active unrestricted CA license to practice medicine by the Medical Board of California.
• Previous experience with computer-based systems; Electronic Medical Records experience preferred.
• Current DEA license.
• A valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care services to PACE participants.
• Manage a defined panel, promote wellness, and coordinate care with specialists and IDT.
• Provide care across the PACE center, participants' homes, virtual visits, and SNFs.
