Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group seeks a BE/BC geriatrician to join the inpatient Geriatrics division. This one-week-on, one-week-off, 7am–7pm position emphasizes hospitalist-style care and opportunities to teach and work with fellows.

Qualifications

• Inpatient geriatrics experience preferred.
• Teaching/education involvement appreciated.
• California-licensed or eligible to practice in CA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient geriatrics care in a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with fellows and other providers on education.
• Participate in rounds and patient management from 7am–7pm, one week on/off.

Job description

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Family Medicine and Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a BE/BC Geriatrician to join the Geriatric division. This is an inpatient opportunity that is one week on, one week off from 7am-7pm.

Previous experience as a hospitalist or geriatric hospitalist is preferred, as is a passion for education, as the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with fellows.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only based on a 1.0 FTE and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $285,000 - $315,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department’s compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
