Job summary

MENTORHILLS seeks a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and document services in medical records. You will communicate with families and health team members, and provide ongoing staff training.

You will supervise CFY Speech Clin Fellows or students, coordinate with physicians, and participate in care conferences while maintaining compliance with facility policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state and in good standing.
• CPR certification, if required by licensure.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clin Fellows and students as applicable.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents and families.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with policies and payer requirements.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
• Participate in care conferences and quality improvement initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Masters or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology
