Job summary

Silver Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, determine therapy needs, and develop tailored treatment plans. You will supervise CFY fellows and students while coordinating with physicians, nurses, and families.

You’ll maintain accurate documentation, provide training to staff, and participate in care conferences to ensure quality patient outcomes and safe, effective care plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; master/doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state with active license.
• Proficient in health record documentation and relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clinical Fellows and students when applicable.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans with families and medical staff.
