Job summary

Copper Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, develop individualized plans, and provide therapy focused on speech, swallowing, and functional independence.

You will educate families, coordinate with physicians, and participate in interdisciplinary care meetings while ensuring compliant documentation and ongoing staff training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required; master's/doctoral preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; continuing education as required.
• Proficient with healthcare documentation systems (Net Health, PCC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve speech and swallowing outcomes.
• Supervise CFY or students in resident care, following state practice act.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in compliance with policies and payer requirements.
• Educate residents and families on goals, home programs, and safety strategies.
