Copperfield Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Houston, TX seeks a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team. The role screens/evaluates patients with communication, cognitive or swallowing disorders and delivers rehabilitative, skilled intervention within regulatory standards.

Applicants must be licensed SLPs and be comfortable providing consultation to patients and families, documenting care, and preparing discharge summaries.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• This position is open to SLPs at all experience levels

Responsibilities

• Screen/evaluate patients with communication, cognitive or swallowing disorders and develop plan of care following standards
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services accordingly
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Provide discharge summaries per regulatory requirements
• Document all required information in electronic records per policy
