Qualifications

• Advanced training in geriatrics preferred.
• 1-year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• 1-year supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• English language proficiency required.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with nursing staff, physician, pharmacist, and families about residents’ status.
• Listen to concerns and initiate corrective action.
• Attend Resident Care conferences and maintain care plans.
• Prepare, administer and document medications per physician orders.
• Document patient care issues and report as required.
• Identify signs and symptoms and choose appropriate treatments.
• Supervise ancillary personnel and initiate corrective action.
• Other duties as assigned.
