Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality nursing care by following physician orders and facility policies. The RN will supervise nursing assistants, assist physicians, and ensure adherence to infection control standards during rounds and treatments.

The ideal candidate holds a North Carolina RN license, CPR certification, and participates in in-service training.

Qualifications

• RN license required from an accredited school of nursing.
• CPR certification annually.
• Supervise nursing assistants and support staff.
• Follow physician orders and facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain infection control standards and participate in training.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality nursing care by following orders and regulations.
• Administers medications as ordered and according to policy.
• Lead and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assist physicians with rounds and patient care during rounds.
• Document treatments and maintain infection control measures.
• Assist with records, assessments and scheduling of annual physicals.
