Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services in Rowan County seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN license required) to provide high-quality nursing care in a geriatric setting, follow physician orders, and ensure compliance with regulations.

You will supervise nursing assistants, assist physicians during rounds, document treatments, manage infection control, and coordinate admissions and annual physicals to keep care timely.

Qualifications

• Must be an RN with a accredited nursing program completion.
• Current RN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing with renewal proof every other year.
• CPR certification required on a yearly basis.
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants and coordinate with other staff.
• Geriatric nursing interest and commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care per physician orders and regulations.
• Administer medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV) per policy and orders.
• Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assist physicians with rounds and patient care during examinations.
• Document treatments, maintain infection control, and ensure safety.
• Assist with admissions, annual physicals, scheduling, and record keeping.
