Job summary

Liberty Health in Clinton, NC seeks a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead the nursing team, supervise the facility during shifts, and ensure the highest standard of patient care while coordinating with the Director of Nursing.

The RN must hold a current North Carolina nursing license, CPR certification, and participate in in-service training; the role includes on-call responsibilities, enforcing policies, and guiding staff to meet state and federal regulations, with long term care experience

Qualifications

• Supervises nursing staff and ensures shift coverage.
• Ensures care standards align with nursing practice acts and facility policies.
• Directs nursing services and coordinates with the Director of Nursing.
• Requires CPR certification and ongoing staff training.
• Familiar with geriatric nursing considerations.

Responsibilities

• Assures the best patient care possible by supervising the Facility and by directing the nursing staff during the shift.
• Assists Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
• Supervises Nursing services for Facility during shift in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, Facility policies and procedures, and the local, state, and federal regulations.
• Supervises and assists Nurses with patients during acute episodes.
• Deals with employee problems on a timely basis and documents actions.
• Assumes on-call responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
