Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) to oversee nursing staff and direct care during shifts in a geriatric facility. The role requires strong supervision and adherence to Nursing Practice Act, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina with renewal proof every other year.
• Provide quality nursing care, follow doctor orders, and show genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certified yearly.
• Attend in-service trainings and staff meetings as required.
• Supervise nursing staff to ensure assignments are completed timely and appropriately.
• Read and follow all policies and procedures and comply with regulations.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the facility and direct nursing staff during shifts to ensure best patient care.
• Assist Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
• Oversee nursing services per Nursing Practice Act, policies, and local/state/federal rules.
• Supervise and assist nurses with patients during acute episodes.
• Address employee issues timely and document actions.
• Take on-call responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
