Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our geriatric care team. You will assess residents and administer respiratory therapies while maintaining records with minimal supervision in a skilled nursing setting.

Applicants must hold a COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory and be licensed as RRT or CRT in the state, with BLS certification. Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients with respiratory/non-respiratory illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments.
• Provide in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation and attend IDT meetings.
