Job summary

Premier Care Center in Palm Springs, CA, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. The role offers a flexible schedule and compensation between $40 and $53 per hour based on experience.

The OTA will conduct screenings, provide rehabilitative interventions, and support wound care within a post-acute setting. We value CAPLICO principles and a patient-centered care approach.

Qualifications

• OTA license is required
• New grads are welcome
• Open to OTAs at all experience levels

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions
• Stand and walk throughout the facility with frequent lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and wound care
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance
