The Community Living Center (CLC) Registered Nurse at Veterans Health Administration provides competent, evidence-based care to residents and oversees licensed staff. You will lead nursing education, orientation, and competencies while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

You will coordinate with the MDS coordinator to ensure accurate documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing with ACEN/CCNE accreditation.
• Current full active RN license in a U.S. state or territory.
• VA policy allows bridge program pathways for licensure where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Provide competent, evidence-based care to residents.
• Supervise and coordinate LVN/LPN and nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Direct nursing education, orientation, and competencies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes.
• Ensure accurate documentation and coding in MDS and RUG processes.
