Qualifications

• Greet all customers, patients, vendors, and visitors to the facility.
• Answer patient questions and aid and directions when necessary.
• Register patients and ensure documentation and forms are compliant with state and federal regulatory activities, including HIPAA and applicable regulations.
• Collect payments and print receipts for patients.
• Count and balance cash drawer.
• Utilize medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for patients.
• Verify eligibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
• Answer phone calls and provide information to patients and visitors.
