Curana Health is seeking a licensed Psychotherapist/Counselor in Des Moines, Iowa, to provide individualized therapy for seniors in long-term care communities. Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure to practice independently as a Psychologist (Ph.D/Psy.D.), LCSW, LMHC, LPC, or LMFT.
• Previous experience in a mental health role, preferably in a geriatric or long-term care setting.
• Experience working with elderly populations and understanding age-related mental health issues is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual counseling for depression, anxiety, grief, and cognitive changes.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and facility staff for integrated care.

Education

Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
