Job summary

Curana Health in the United States seeks a licensed mental health professional to provide compassionate therapy for seniors in long-term care communities. You’ll assess and counsel residents to support dignity, quality of life, and connection through care.

You’ll partner with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to develop treatment plans, monitor progress, maintain confidential records, and ensure ethical, state, and federal compliance. Some travel to assigned facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice independently as a psychologist or LMHC/LP C/LCSW/LISW/LMFT.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with seniors and families.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted resource for residents; conduct psychological assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy for depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment disorders, and cognitive changes.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to ensure integrated, holistic care.
• Respond to emotional or psychological crises with timely intervention.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and follow state and federal guidelines.
• Navigate electronic medical records with accuracy.
