Job summary

Curana Health, Inc. is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide individual therapy and counseling to seniors in long-term care communities. You will partner with care teams to support residents’ emotional well-being and dignity during every stage of care.

The role requires travel between facilities. Licensure as Psychologist (Ph.D./Psy.D.) or LMHC/LPC/LMFT is required, with experience in geriatric mental health preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice independently as Psychologist (Ph.D/Psy.D.), LMHC, LPC, or LMFT.
• Experience in mental health, preferably geriatric or long‑term care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with residents and families; strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted resource for residents: conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy for depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment disorders, and cognitive changes.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and facility staff for integrated care.
• Respond to emotional crises with immediate intervention and support.
• Maintain confidential records and follow ethical, state, and federal guidelines.
• Navigate electronic medical records with accuracy.
