Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and ANCC certification as a PMHNP.
• Active DEA license.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient rounds and manage psychiatric care within SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, specialists, and facility staff for coordinated care.
• Evaluate and manage residents' mental health needs and medical histories.
• Order and interpret labs and tests; develop therapeutic care plans.
• Prescribe and administer medications; provide necessary injections.
• Educate patients and families on medications and care plans.
• Respond to acute psychiatric and medical needs with the care team.
