Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Podiatrist to provide compassionate care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, and senior living communities. This role offers flexible scheduling and compensation tied to revenue, with company-issued iPad for EMR documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a DPM degree, active licensure or eligibility, and experience in long-term care environments. This position is part-time (1099) with benefits available.

Qualifications

• DPM degree required
• Active state licensure or eligibility
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent settings
• Able to lift/carry up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad
