Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Podiatrist to provide compassionate foot and lower limb care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, and senior living communities. This part-time 1099 role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to impact patient outcomes with a motivated team.

You'll work with a supportive staff, receive guaranteed patient volume, and use NextGen EMR on an iPad. DPM degree and active licensure are required, with BLS mandatory and ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• DPM degree is required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in long-term care or nursing homes preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Document clinical encounters in EMR on an iPad.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
