Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Podiatrist to provide compassionate care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, and senior living communities. You will assess and treat foot and lower limb conditions, manage diabetic foot issues, educate patients, and collaborate with facility staff while documenting in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and the potential for strong earnings.

Qualifications

• DPM degree required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
