Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Podiatrist to provide compassionate care in long-term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, and senior living communities. The role offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay under a 1099 part-time arrangement, with company benefits and a supportive team.

The successful candidate will diagnose and treat foot and lower limb conditions, manage diabetic foot care, and document encounters using NextGen EMR on an iPad, while collaborating with facility staff

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree is required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
