Job summary

Preferred Podiatry Group PC is seeking a part-time Podiatrist to provide compassionate foot and lower-limb care in long-term care facilities and senior living communities. The role offers flexibility, autonomy, and a patient-centered approach within a supportive team.

You will document encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad, collaborate with facility staff, and participate in Medicare quality programs. Prior long-term care experience is preferred and BLS is required.

Qualifications

• DPM degree is required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings is preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, independent settings.
• Able to lift/carry up to 15 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions.
• Deliver preventive care for high-risk patients, including diabetic foot management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and foot health.
• Collaborate with facility staff for patient-centered outcomes.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure top-tier care.
• Document clinical encounters in NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
