Job summary

Curana Health seeks a physician to join our mission-driven team delivering high-quality, person-centered care across skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities.

You will practice medicine with autonomy over scheduling, patient flow, and day-to-day decisions, while collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers to ensure regulatory compliance and clinical excellence. This role requires travel to assigned facilities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Active DEA license and current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of employment.
• Experience in geriatric care settings and value-based care models is preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care by completing history and physicals on new patients and performing routine rounds.
• Collaborate with APPs to manage regulatory and complex visits, ensuring clinical excellence.
• Oversee APP performance and mentor team members to elevate care delivery.
• Close quality gaps and drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
• Advocate for patients and represent Curana Health’s mission in communities served.
• Flexibility to work full-time or part-time schedules.
