Job summary

Curana Health seeks a physician to join our mission to improve health, happiness, and dignity for older adults. You will provide high-quality, person-centered care across skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities, with autonomy over your schedule and patient flow.

In this role you will lead a clinical team, mentor APPs, and drive outcomes while enjoying flexibility and independence not commonly found in traditional medicine. Travel to assigned facilities is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in a primary care or geriatric specialty.
• Unrestricted medical license to practice in the employing state.
• Active DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide history and physicals on new patients and perform routine rounds (minimum weekly).
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers to manage complex visits and ensure clinical excellence.
• Oversee APP performance and mentor the care team.
• Close quality gaps and drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
• Advocate for patients and uphold Curana Health’s mission in the communities served.
• Represent Curana Health as a clinical leader and ambassador during community engagement.
