Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners in Nashville, TN, seeks a physician for outpatient care with a 4.5-day work week and no on-call requirements. The role leverages ambient listening AI technology (AI Suki) to support diagnostic and clinical workflows.

Candidates must hold an MD or DO and be credentialed; ALS is preferred. You will provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health services under physician supervision, with a focus on elder care in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• MD/DO credentialed and board-eligible/board-certified.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) preferred; AHA or Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care under physician supervision.
• Obtain patient history, perform assessments, and order/interpret diagnostic procedures.
• Provide and document treatment and management of health conditions; counsel patients and families.

• Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician.

• Obtain patient history and perform assessment. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.

• Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.

• Provide counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.

• Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office

• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Verified by local credentialing office.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
