Ascension is seeking a MD/DO physician to join an employed, outpatient practice within a large health system. You will join a team of 2 physicians and 3 APPs, with minimal call and holidays rotation.
The role emphasizes clinical excellence, skin biopsies, injections, Pap smears, IUD insertions, and other clinic procedures. This 500-bed Level I Trauma Center serves a population of about one million and is part of Ascension's integrated network.

Join an established team of 2 physicians and 3 APPs
Call structure: Minimal. Providers average 3â4 weekends per year and rotate holidays.
Practice setting: Outpatient
Key procedures performed in clinic include skin biopsies, joint injections, abscess drainage, sutures, Pap smears, IUD insertions, toenail removals, and more.
Access to on-site Urgent Care, lab and X-ray, Behavioral Health (LPC), Clinical RN, and Coumadin Therapy
Employed position within a nonprofit health system
Lead patient care within your assigned area by applying advanced diagnostic and treatment skills to improve individual health outcomes.
Advocate for clinical excellence by identifying and implementing strategies that enhance the quality and cost-effectiveness of care.

Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
