Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN seeks a Board Eligible/Certified Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) for a part-time inpatient role within a nonprofit health system. Employed position with CME incentives and malpractice tail coverage.

The facility is a 541-bed hospital serving a wide region, with a comprehensive cardiac program and stroke center. Licensure in Tennessee required prior to hire.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school and Tennessee license/registration prior to hire.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Inpatient practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care as part of an established team.
• Collaborate with hospital departments within Ascension Saint Thomas West.
• Maintain patient-centered care and charting in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in CME activities and professional development.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
