HealthDrive Corporation in Jessup, MD is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to manage the medical needs of skilled nursing residents in sub-acute rehab and long-term care units. You will diagnose and treat health conditions, promote good health, and work with the medical staff.

APRN will establish relationships with administrators and staff, conduct physical exams, interpret labs, and oversee patient health, acting as primary contact for emergencies.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• State license as Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
• Board Certification required
• DEA/Controlled Substance license

Responsabilidades

• Provide primary, post-acute, and preventative care for residents in sub-acute rehab and long-term care units.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases.
• Prescribe medications.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules.
• Inform patients about health conditions and prescribed medications.
• Oversee patients’ overall health.
