HealthDrive Corporation is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to manage medical needs of skilled nursing residents in sub-acute and long-term care units. The APRN will diagnose, treat, and promote health while coordinating with administrators and staff.

A 3-week paid training with mentorship prepares you for success. Responsibilities include primary and preventative care, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing and APRN credentialing.
• State professional Nurse Practitioner license.
• Board Certification required for APRN practice.
• DEA/Controlled Substance License.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with on-site staff.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide primary and post-acute care for residents in assigned facilities.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses; propose treatments.
• Prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate patient records and schedules.
• Inform patients about health conditions and medications.
• Oversee residents’ overall health and care coordination.
