Job summary

Peaceful Pines Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to support residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and work with a compassionate, person-centered approach to help residents feel safe and valued.

Responsibilities include documenting care, coordinating with nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. A SD license is preferred; on-the-job training is possible.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in SD as Medication Aide (or willing to complete on-the-job training).
• TB test requirement per state regulations.
• Adherence to company policies, confidentiality, and safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Respectful, patient-centered care for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by RN per state rules.
• Ensure safe, accurate, timely med delivery and documentation in MAR.
• Monitor effectiveness and report changes to nursing leadership.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and feeding as trained.
• Communicate changes in condition promptly to the nursing team.
• Collaborate with care, culinary, and life enrichment teams for resident experience.
• Maintain medication storage security and regulatory compliance.
