Job summary

Peaceful Pines Senior Living – Rapid City is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to support residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. You will administer prescribed meds, assist with daily living activities, and document care with care and compassion.

Responsibilities emphasize safety, dignity, and person-centered care, with focus on communication with nursing leadership and teamwork with care staff to maintain a comforting, home-like environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Medication Aide in South Dakota.
• Willingness to complete on-the-job training if not currently licensed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
• Document medication administration and treatment completion in MAR and systems.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to support continuity of care and medication management.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and feeding as trained.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality, and infection control practices.
