Qualifications

• Licensed in South Dakota as a Medication Aide (or willing to complete on-the-job training).

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a Registered Nurse.
• Ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication delivery following all policies and procedures.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and overall response.
• Communicate changes or concerns to nursing leadership.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to support continuity of care and medication management.
• Accurately document medication administration in MAR and required systems.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and support independence.
