Job summary

Peaceful Pines Senior Living - Spearfish is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to support residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and ensure care is delivered with compassion and respect for every resident.

Collaborate with nursing staff, document in MAR, and promote safety, independence, and person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Licensed in SD as a Medication Aide or willing to complete on-the-job training.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a RN per state regulations.
• Document administration in MAR and required documentation systems.
• Monitor medication effects and report changes to nursing leadership.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Maintain proper storage of medications per policies.
• Communicate with nursing staff to support continuity of care.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
