Job summary

Peaceful Pines Senior Living seeks a Medication Aide to administer prescribed medications and assist with daily living activities in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. You will collaborate with nursing staff to ensure safe, compassionate, and accurate care, documenting all actions and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed in SD as a Medication Aide or willing to complete on-the-job training.
• Must submit to a TB test per state regulations.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
• Accurately document medication administration in the MAR and other required systems.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and overall response.
• Communicate medication-related concerns or changes to nursing leadership.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to support continuity of care and medication management.
