Job summary

ArchWell Health seeks a Medical Assistant to support the primary care team, room patients, and assist the PCP with day-to-day tasks. The role involves collecting vitals, taking medical history, and coordinating care with specialists as needed.

The MA will also handle patient communications, perform basic clinical procedures under supervision, maintain safety documentation, and contribute to health coaching programs for targeted patient groups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training.
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• EClinical Works or similar EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Take patient intake, record vitals, medical history and assess health needs.
• Escort patients, greet, room, and coordinate with PCP and team.
• Handle patient calls, relay information to physicians, and manage messaging.
• Perform dressings, sutures, basic first aid under supervision as needed.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and accurate documentation.
• Provide health coaching with follow-up calls.
