Job summary

Rockville Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care team in New York. The LPN will provide bedside care, monitor vitals, administer medications including IVs where applicable, and collaborate with physicians, NPs and CNAs to optimize resident outcomes.

Candidates must hold an active NY LPN license, be able to work independently, and be willing to alternate weekends. Competitive hourly wages up to $40 plus benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current NY LPN license required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.
• Willing to work alternating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for residents of the Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit.
• Medication administration, including IVs.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Provide resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcomes.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communicate with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervise CNAs.
