The Alden Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants. You will ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards while maintaining the highest quality of care.

The role emphasizes leadership, care planning, and collaboration with physicians to support residents’ well-being. Ideal candidates will hold an Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and demonstrate strong communication and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess an RN license valid in Illinois.
• CPR certification required or obtained within two weeks.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and care of the aged.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Demonstrates leadership and supervisory ability.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise nursing care on the unit.
• Oversee nursing assistants and ensure policy compliance.
• Develop and review care plans for customers.
• Attend care plan conferences and communicate with physicians.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes and documentation.
• Provide a warm, supportive environment for customers.
