The Alden Network is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants in a skilled care environment in Illinois/Wisconsin.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, ensuring policy compliance, and coordinating with physicians. The role emphasizes leadership, patient safety, and quality care, with a focus on team supervision and ongoing patient assessments.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN in the State of Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
• Must possess current CPR certificate or become certified within two weeks of employment.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to customers and supervise nursing assistants.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct nursing care for a unit.
• Supervise and instruct staff to promote knowledge and ensure policies are followed.
• Maintain warmth and calm environment throughout the department.
• Complete required assessments upon admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
